We are looking for a Collection Manager to join the team of a leading company in the transportation sector. The Collection Manager will be responsible for overseeing collection operations, leading the company's collection management team, ensuring timely recovery of dues, and reducing aged debts. ↔
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage collection and credit operations.
- Develop and implement effective collection procedures.
- Manage collection activities, including follow-ups through direct communication with clients, phone calls, and emails.
- Monitor and manage overdue accounts.
- Negotiate payment plans for overdue debts.
- Lead, train, and supervise the collection management team, ensuring their compliance.
- Identify and assess credit risks.
- Implement measures to minimize bad debts and maximize cash flows.
- Prepare regular reports on collection performance and aged receivables.
Qualifications:
- University degree with proven experience in collection and credit management, preferably in the transportation sector.
- Experience in handling Letters of Credit (LCs) and Bank Guarantees (LGs).
Skills:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of ERP programs and systems.
