Director of the Authority’s office at King Fahd Airport
- Supervising the work of inspecting shipments of radioactive materials, nuclear materials, and nuclear belongings arriving at the air, sea, and land border crossings in the administrative region in accordance with the procedure approved by the Authority and ensuring their compliance with the Authority’s import and export licenses, and coordinating with the Authority in the event of monitoring violations, supporting inspection work, and working to coordinate the work of Initial response to radiation emergencies.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Supervising the work of inspecting shipments of radioactive materials, nuclear materials, and nuclear belongings arriving at air, sea, and land border crossings in the administrative region in accordance with the procedure approved by the Authority and ensuring their compliance with the Authority’s import and export licenses.
- Supporting inspections and field visits on radiation practices when needed.
- Coordinating with the Authority in the event of monitoring a violation of the import, export, or transit of radioactive materials, items contaminated with radioactive materials, nuclear materials, or nuclear belongings.
- Coordinating initial response to radiation emergencies.
- Follow up on the status of technical means to monitor and control the illicit circulation of nuclear materials, radioactive materials, and items contaminated with radioactive materials.
- Coordinating and following up on the Authority’s work with the relevant authorities.
- Preparing periodic reports related to the branch/office work.
- Supporting committees related to nuclear materials, nuclear belongings, and radioactive materials at air, sea, and land ports, and security committees in the region.

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in the following specializations:

Years of Experience
(6) Minimum of six years, including (4) minimum years in the air transport sector, and one supervisory year

- الإشراف على أعمال التفتيش على شحنات المواد المشعة والمواد النووية والمتعلقات النووية الواردة إلى المنافذ الحدودية الجوية والبحرية والبرية بالمنطقة الإدارية وفقا للإجراء المعتمد من الهيئة والتأكد من مطابقتها لمواصفات الاستيراد والتصدير الخاصة بالهيئة. التراخيص، والتنسيق مع الهيئة في حالة رصد المخالفات، ودعم أعمال التفتيش، والعمل على تنسيق أعمال الاستجابة الأولية للطوارئ الإشعاعية.
الادوار والمسؤوليات:
- الإشراف على أعمال التفتيش على شحنات المواد المشعة والمواد النووية والمتعلقات النووية القادمة من المنافذ الحدودية الجوية والبحرية والبرية بالمنطقة الإدارية وفقا للإجراء المعتمد من الهيئة والتأكد من مطابقتها لإجازات الاستيراد والتصدير الخاصة بالهيئة. .
- دعم عمليات التفتيش والزيارات الميدانية على الممارسات الإشعاعية عند الحاجة.
- التنسيق مع الهيئة في حال رصد مخالفة استيراد أو تصدير أو عبور المواد المشعة أو المواد الملوثة بالمواد المشعة أو المواد النووية أو المتعلقات النووية.
- تنسيق الاستجابة الأولية لحالات الطوارئ الإشعاعية.
- متابعة حالة الوسائل الفنية لرصد ومراقبة التداول غير المشروع للمواد النووية والمواد المشعة والمواد الملوثة بالمواد المشعة.
- التنسيق ومتابعة أعمال الهيئة مع الجهات ذات العلاقة.
- إعداد التقارير الدورية المتعلقة بعمل الفرع/المكتب.
- اللجان المساندة المتعلقة بالمواد النووية والممتلكات النووية والمواد المشعة في المنافذ الجوية والبحرية والبرية واللجان الأمنية بالمنطقة.
مؤهل
الحصول على درجة البكالوريوس كحد أدنى في التخصصات التالية:

سنوات من الخبرة
(6) ست سنوات على الأقل، منها (4) سنوات على الأقل في قطاع النقل الجوي، وسنة إشرافية واحدة
