Technical Proposal Manager
- We’re seeking a Technical Proposal Manager to join our REVIVA - Industrial Services Division. In this role, you will spearhead the development and delivery of business proposals (including RFI, PPQ, ITT, RFP, etc.), handle bid management, and engage in contract negotiation. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that our proposals meet client requirements with precision, feasibility, and competitive pricing, ultimately securing new business opportunities. Moreover, you will oversee the entire estimating and proposal process from initiation to conclusion.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Develop and manage bid processes for Industrial Services projects, including but not limited to: Chemical Cleaning and hydrologic, Tank Repair & Rehabilitation, Pipe Fabrication, Catalyst Handling, Leak Sealing and Maintenance projects for Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Plants.
- Examine bid packages, participate in site visits, and offer input to the estimation team regarding the intricacies of the bid package.
- Oversee the entire estimating and proposal process, ensuring seamless management from initiation to conclusion.
- Participate actively in contract negotiation, leveraging expertise to secure favorable terms.
- Analyze client requirements meticulously to tailor proposals that demonstrate precision, feasibility, and competitive pricing.
- Perform budget analysis post-bid award and support estimation team involved in formulating essential working budgets for Project Leads, Managers.
- Conduct post-proposal reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement in future proposal efforts.
- Monitor and track proposal metrics and key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of proposal strategies and processes.
- Coordinate with Project & Operations teams to ensure that proposals align with technical requirements and Project & Operations objectives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards throughout the proposal development process.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) in an engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in Proposal & Estimation for Oil & Gas and Petrochemical sectors.
- Understanding the business aspects of the Industrial Services, including market trends, competitors, and pricing strategies, is advantageous.
- Experience in Industrial Services including but not limited to: Chemical Cleaning and Hydrology, Tank Repair & Rehabilitation, Pipe Fabrication, Catalyst Handling, and Leak Sealing.
