 Role Description

 

This is a full-time on-site role located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for Homeroom and Subject Teachers. The roles require qualified and experienced teachers to engage with students aged 3-18, driven to develop a passion for lifelong learning and an understanding and respect for Islamic values. Successful candidates are responsible for providing a supportive learning environment that fosters positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. They will prepare and deliver lessons in the English language and follow the American curriculum based on Common Core State Standards (CCSS).

Subject Teacher

Job Description

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons to all students in the class or online.

• Deliver instruction according to the educational needs, abilities, and achievement of the individual

student or groups of students.

• Adopt and work towards the effective implementation of school improvement plans.

• Assign and mark student work carried according to the policies and guidelines given.

• Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, attainment, and behavior of students.

• Contribute to the development of oral and written assessments, reports, and references related to individual students or groups of students.

• Communicate, consult, and collaborate with colleagues and members of the school community.

• Participate in professional development, in-service training courses, and action research exercises.

Homeroom Teacher

Job Description

· Develop student’s knowledge and understanding of English to support their work in all subject areas including English, Math, and Science.

· Contribute towards medium and long-term curriculum planning and design, assessment, and recording. 

· Provide effective instruction to students at different levels of ability and understanding by the use of appropriately varied teaching methods and differentiation. 

· Assign and grade class work, homework, tests, and assignments. 

· Develop and maintain an attractive and interesting classroom environment. 

· Formally assess students as required and maintain up to date records of individual student and class achievement.
