Required jobs in Civmec company and their details:
Inspector QC
- Proven experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control within the SMP sector, preferably in heavy industrial or construction settings.
- Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and specifications (e.g., ASME, AWS, API, ASTM) pertaining to SMP disciplines.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
Mobile Plant Operators
- We require operators for 3-7T Telehandler, 25T Forklift, HC Truck Driver and Skid Steer operations.
- Responsible for operation of plant used for material handling and equipment/material relocations
- Assure that all loads are within the load capacity of the equipment and correctly secured
Boilermaker
- Interpret engineering and detail fabrication drawings, specifications and standards
- Able to mark out steel components.
- Cut, notch, drill, ream, shape and form steel components using correct tooling ie Rota Broach, oxy and acetylene etc
- Fit up and adequately tack weld steel components
- Apply temporary bracing, where required, to ensure post welded component is with in tolerance and dimensions
- Straighten steel components where applicable post welding to comply with dimensions
Crane Operators
- Able to set up cranes to the manufacturer's operator's manual including load charts
- Understand the fundamentals of crane computers
- The crane operator's responsibilities include knowledge of lever and pedal control,
- The daily inspection off the crane
- Operating the crane under general supervision.
- Experience handling different types of cranes.
Scaffolder Advanced
- Familiar with various types of scaffolding components ie Atpac, Tube and clip etc.
- Able to work at heights.
- Understanding of the basic fundamentals of scaffolding.
- Erect install and position various sections of scaffolding including hanging and cantilevered scaffolds.
- Read and interpret engineered drawings for weight bearing scaffolds other than human occupancy.
Carpenter
- Interpret drawings and specifications
- Mark and line out formwork
- Erect and dismantle formwork as instructed
- Perform second fixing
Electrical Tradesperson
- Base Salary + Allowances + Project Bonus AND Penalties, paid weekly!
- FIFO roster 3 weeks on and 1 week off

Pipe Fitter
- Install pipe to modules, measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading
- Examine and test installed systems and pipelines using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation and or other methods
- Repair any damage to pipes by regular inspection and detect any malfunctions
- Maintain accurate records of service cycles in a timely manner
- Assemble new pipes and plan layout of the same pipes
