About the Job
Danone MENA is looking for a talented Hospital Specialist – Governmental Sector to be based in Riyadh, KSA.
In the context of Specialized Nutrition MENA, the candidate will be responsible to grow the category, gain market share, and accelerate the business locally by supporting the field team in the relevant channel. This will be achieved in line with corporate guidelines and strategies by planning and executing sales plans and developing partnerships with key stakeholders, medical institutions, and distributors in the country.
The role includes managing day-to-day hospital operations and sales activities with full business accountability.
Responsibilities
Hospital Management
- Collect data from the field team on a monthly basis for full business analysis and present it to the Line Manager.
- Monitor stock levels and consumption in key accounts to avoid overstock or shortages through monthly coordination with the Danone team.
- Integrate data with the distributor to support business growth.
Senior Business Development Manager
About the Role
The role is responsible for building joint business plans with the distributor and ensuring excellence in execution. The candidate will work closely with the distributor and customers to maximize business performance across channels.
Responsibilities
- Manage diverse sales channels including Off-Premise and Away-From-Home, focusing on hypermarkets, supermarkets, impulse channels, airports, hotels, and restaurants.
- Negotiate trade terms including volume targets, rebates, and price changes.
- Develop and align business plans with partners and follow up on action plans.
- Anticipate risks and opportunities across channels.
- Ensure and challenge required resources including P&L and trade marketing investments.
- Implement trade marketing strategies and recommend market needs.
- Handle promotional planning and forecasting.
- Monitor distributor performance KPIs through market visits and reports.
- Prepare monthly performance reports internally and with partners.
