Dynamics 365 F&O Technical Developer
About the job
The Dynamics 365 F&O Technical Developer is responsible for developing and customizing backend solutions, integrating systems, and supporting data-driven operations within the Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and customize backend solutions in Dynamics 365 F&O using X++ and .NET
- Design and implement custom security roles, duties, and privileges based on business requirements
- Integrate D365FO with external portals and third-party systems using REST APIs, OData, and Azure services
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Create and maintain data entities, batch jobs, and event handlers
- Develop and deploy SSRS reports to support data-driven decision-making
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and performance optimization
- Maintain technical documentation and support deployment activities
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Dynamics 365 F&O development
- Proficiency in X++, .NET, and Visual Studio
- Experience with custom security role development and role-based access control (RBAC)
- Familiarity with REST APIs, OData, and Azure Logic Apps
- Understanding of ERP modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, or HR
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Knowledge of Power Platform, Dataverse, and Azure DevOps
- Microsoft certification such as MB-500 (Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps Developer Associate) is preferred
