Al Rabie is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Lab Technician to join our Research & Development team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates with an engineering background—preferably in Chemical Engineering or Industrial Engineering—who are eager to gain hands-on experience in product development and laboratory operations within the food and beverage industry.
Responsibilities
- Operate laboratory and pilot-plant equipment daily in accordance with safety standards and SOPs.
- Conduct routine calibration, verification, and basic maintenance of lab equipment.
- Prepare product batches, trial samples, and formulations based on instructions from the Product Development team.
- Follow precise recipes and procedures to support product development activities.
- Assist in conducting experiments, collecting data, and preparing trial documentation.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized laboratory environment.
- Handle moderate lifting of ingredients, materials, and equipment.
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of raw materials and finished samples.
- Support cross-functional coordination with Quality, Production, and Procurement teams when required.
Education, Certification, Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong technical ability and willingness to learn new equipment and processes.
- Basic understanding of lab safety, laboratory practices, and measurement techniques.

Manage the Section’s team Order to Cash and Marketing business cycle, ensuring that the company policies and procedures are applied properly within the OTC & Marketing cycles. Also manage internal and external communications related to these two cycles.
Principal Accountabilities
- Maintain OTC and Marketing policies and procedures, ensuring they are updated continuously.
- Monthly and weekly preparation of collection targets, with close follow-up with the sales team to ensure monthly collection target achievement.
- Monthly review of aging by sales channel, region, and distribution center, ensuring timely identification of potential risks.
- Timely credit assessment as per the policy and procedures.
- Enhance the internal control framework in line with company strategy within the OTC and marketing cycles.
- Conduct weekly meetings with the sales team reviewing accounts receivable overdue status, agree on action plans, and follow up on execution.
- Develop a compliance visits plan for all distribution centers and distributor areas, secure finance director approval, and execute within agreed timeframe.
- Support in enhancing working capital related to accounts receivable.
- Work closely with marketing and financial planning teams to monitor the marketing budget, perform timely reconciliation meetings, and ensure proper monitoring and reporting.
