Position: OSP Budget Specialist

Key Responsibilities
Contribute to program budget plans and obtain leadership approval for program spending.
Implement financial and accounting system controls and standards to ensure timely reporting.
Respond to inquiries regarding budget requests and recommendations.
Participate in month-end closing by providing consolidated financial and business reports.
Assist with executive budget proposals, forecasting, annual budget, and annual operating plans.
Handle budget preparation and collaborate with stakeholders to develop accurate budgets.
Collect expected software project costs and prepare budgets considering associated risks.
Monitor and control expenses, analyze budget variances, and implement cost-saving measures.
Collect and analyze budget requirements from department heads.
Perform any other relevant duties as assigned by the line manager.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CMA or SOCPA certification is preferred.
3–5 years of experience in budget functions.
Strong analytical and reporting skills.
Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
