Position Overview
The Retail Manager is responsible for the people, standards, customer experience, and financial and operational management of stores in the Central Region. The manager will support, coach, and develop teams to translate retail plans into tangible actions that enable store managers and teams to meet and exceed targets.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve sales and KPI targets by monitoring, identifying opportunities, and implementing appropriate actions.
Ensure exceptional retail and operational standards in Sephora stores while delivering best-in-class customer service.
Ensure compliance in all operational areas and drive sales and profitability through performance, development, and coaching of store managers and teams.
Provide leadership, support, and direction to store teams in line with Sephora's vision.
Performance, Productivity & Results Management
Lead teams by translating performance objectives into store sales and KPI targets.
Monitor and report on performance KPIs and identify areas for improvement.
Monitor store productivity to stay within agreed budgets.
Lead customer and team culture by being present in stores four days a week.
Build the "Beauty Playground of the Future" through services, customer loyalty, and differentiation.
Implement agreed retail priorities and drive commercial success.
Develop teams, recruit, and identify talent with a focus on scaling up and preparing employees for the next career step.
Store Operations Management
Organize back-of-house operations in compliance with Sephora policies and procedures.
Monitor stock levels and conduct timely inventories.
Provide accurate and timely reports on operational conditions.
Recruit and develop exceptional employees.
Optimize operations to ensure productivity and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with company policies and operational guidelines.
Store Merchandising & Standards
Ensure Sephora's merchandising concepts are set up and maintained.
Maintain store cleanliness and security standards.
Support key product launches and initiatives.
Customer & People
Develop and follow up on people development plans in partnership with training teams.
Maintain leadership roles and headcount through succession planning and recruitment.
Lead by example in driving a service culture and monitoring customer service levels.
Monitor market trends and competitors and communicate insights to relevant teams.
Skills & Experience
Knowledge and experience in sales, service, and KPI-driven environments.
Leadership and management experience.
Commercial background and awareness of the Saudi market.
Comprehensive beauty industry knowledge and up-to-date on trends.
Excellent communication, flexibility, and creativity skills.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, operations, or services within the beauty/retail/hospitality industry.
Personality
High achievement drive and ability to lead change.
Adaptability to fast-paced environments.
Relationship-building skills with store teams and support functions.
English proficiency (Arabic is a plus).
Valid driving license.
