We are looking for a dedicated Safety Officer to join our team and ensure the well-being of our employees at work. This role is crucial in implementing and improving safety measures while supporting compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) guidelines. Details

Job Responsibilities:

• Directly reporting to Safety Support Manager:
  Implement safety programs as developed by the safety management to prevent or correct unsafe working conditions; evaluate the results and suggest improvements.
• Examine non-routine activities to determine if all safety precautions have been included, as well as perform risk assessments as required.
• Conduct daily tours of the plant to inspect fire and safety equipment, machinery, and facilities to identify and correct potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Send related reports as required in the Safety Calendar.
• Assure that recommended PPEs are used as per the location; suggest improvements if required.
• Conduct or coordinate safety and first aid training to educate workers about safety policies, laws, and practices.
• Investigate industrial accidents/incidents to minimize recurrence and prepare accident reports.
• Attend air quality tests conducted by third parties to assure compliance with legal requirements.
• Motivate and influence workers and employees to plan and execute every task with safety as the first consideration.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Safety Officer or similar role in a relevant industry.
• Knowledge of OHS regulations and best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to conduct training sessions and toolbox talks effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

المسؤوليات الوظيفية:

• التقرير مباشرة إلى مدير دعم السلامة:
  تنفيذ برامج السلامة كما تم تطويرها من قبل إدارة السلامة لمنع أو تصحيح ظروف العمل غير الآمنة؛ تقييم النتائج واقتراح التحسينات.
• فحص الأنشطة غير الروتينية لتحديد ما إذا كانت جميع الاحتياطات الأمنية قد تم تضمينها، وكذلك إجراء تقييمات المخاطر حسب الحاجة.
• إجراء جولات يومية في المصنع لفحص معدات الحرائق والسلامة، والآلات، والمرافق لتحديد وتصحيح المخاطر المحتملة وضمان الامتثال للوائح السلامة.
• إرسال التقارير ذات الصلة حسب الحاجة في تقويم السلامة.
• ضمان استخدام معدات الحماية الشخصية الموصى بها وفقًا للموقع؛ اقتراح تحسينات إذا لزم الأمر.
• إجراء أو تنسيق التدريب على السلامة والإسعافات الأولية لتثقيف العمال حول سياسات وقوانين وممارسات السلامة.
• التحقيق في الحوادث الصناعية لتقليل تكرارها وإعداد تقارير الحوادث.
• حضور اختبارات جودة الهواء التي تجريها جهة خارجية لضمان الامتثال للمتطلبات القانونية.
• تحفيز وتأثير العمال والموظفين على تخطيط وتنفيذ كل مهمة بحيث تكون السلامة هي الاعتبار الأول.
