Head of Procurement
Job Purpose:
- The Head of Procurement is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of the procurement function within the organization. This role involves developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, optimizing procurement processes, and ensuring efficient sourcing of items and services to meet the company's needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals and objectives.
- Lead and manage the procurement team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to optimize performance and foster a culture of excellence.
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to secure favorable pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including department heads and senior management, to understand procurement requirements and ensure alignment with business needs.
- Oversee the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and systems to enhance efficiency, transparency, and accountability in procurement processes.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and risk mitigation within the procurement function.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and best practices in procurement to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Prepare and present regular reports and updates on procurement activities, performance metrics, and key initiatives to senior management.
Minimum Experience Requirements:
- 4 years of experience in leading the procurement department.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing procurement strategies and SOPs that drive cost savings, improve efficiency, and enhance supplier relationships.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to effectively communicate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Solid understanding of procurement principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
Preferred Education and Professional Certificates:
- Holds a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the procurement department.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills – English proficiency required.
- Experience working in the retail industry, particularly with high-end luxury products, is preferred.

المهام والمسؤوليات:
- تطوير وتنفيذ استراتيجيات المشتريات بما يتماشى مع أهداف الشركة وأغراضها.
- قيادة وإدارة فريق المشتريات، وتقديم التوجيه والتدريب والدعم لتحسين الأداء وتعزيز ثقافة التميز.
- إنشاء علاقات مع الموردين والحفاظ عليها، والتفاوض على العقود والشروط لضمان الأسعار المناسبة والجودة وشروط التسليم.
- مراقبة وتقييم أداء الموردين، وتحديد فرص التحسين وتنفيذ الإجراءات التصحيحية حسب الضرورة.
- التعاون مع أصحاب المصلحة الداخليين، بما في ذلك رؤساء الأقسام والإدارة العليا، لفهم متطلبات المشتريات وضمان التوافق مع احتياجات العمل.
- الإشراف على عملية الشراء من الطلب حتى التسليم، وضمان الامتثال لسياسات المنظمة وإجراءاتها ومتطلباتها التنظيمية.
- تطوير وصيانة سياسات وإجراءات وأنظمة المشتريات لتعزيز الكفاءة والشفافية والمساءلة في عمليات الشراء.
- تحديد الفرص المتاحة لتوفير التكاليف وتحسين العمليات والتخفيف من المخاطر ضمن وظيفة المشتريات.
- البقاء على اطلاع على اتجاهات الصناعة وظروف السوق وأفضل الممارسات في المشتريات لدفع التحسين المستمر والابتكار.
- إعداد وتقديم التقارير والتحديثات المنتظمة حول أنشطة المشتريات ومقاييس الأداء والمبادرات الرئيسية إلى الإدارة العليا.
متطلبات الخبرة الدنيا:
- - 4 سنوات خبرة في قيادة قسم المشتريات.
- سجل حافل بالنجاح في تطوير وتنفيذ استراتيجيات المشتريات وإجراءات التشغيل القياسية التي تؤدي إلى توفير التكاليف وتحسين الكفاءة وتعزيز العلاقات مع الموردين.
- مهارات قوية في التفاوض مع القدرة على التواصل والتأثير على أصحاب المصلحة على جميع المستويات بشكل فعال.
- فهم قوي لمبادئ المشتريات والممارسات واللوائح.
- قدرات ممتازة في التحليل وحل المشكلات واتخاذ القرار.
- الكفاءة في استخدام برامج وأدوات المشتريات.
الشهادات التعليمية والمهنية المفضلة:
- حاصل على درجة البكالوريوس في إدارة سلسلة التوريد أو إدارة الأعمال أو مجال ذي صلة.
- خبرة مثبتة في دور قيادي ضمن قسم المشتريات.
- مهارات قوية في التحليل وحل المشكلات.
- مهارات التواصل الجيدة – مطلوب إتقان اللغة الإنجليزية.
- يفضل أن تكون لديك خبرة في العمل في قطاع البيع بالتجزئة، وخاصة مع المنتجات الفاخرة الراقية.
