About the job
- Job Purpose: We are seeking an experienced Fit-Out Manager to oversee and coordinate interior fit-out projects locally and internationally from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the execution of fit-out works, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze project requirements and develop a comprehensive execution plan for fit-out works, including necessary materials, resources, and timelines.
- Direct and manage the team responsible for implementing branch fit-outs, monitor progress, and guide the team to ensure reliable execution according to specifications, quality standards, and the designated timeframe.
- Collaborate and coordinate with designers to understand their vision and requirements, ensuring that branch fit-outs align with approved plans and designs.
- Maintain ongoing communication and coordination with regional and international management to understand their needs and requirements regarding branch fit-outs and maintenance.
- Officially communicate with mall management and follow up with them to resolve any issues or obstacles during branch fit-outs within malls.
- Continuously seek the best contractors and suppliers necessary for branch fit-outs in terms of quality, time, and cost, ensuring that required materials are available on time and at the best quality and price.
- Monitor costs and the budget allocated for branch fit-outs, ensuring compliance with the specified financial budget.
- Oversee the quality of work and ensure that tasks are executed to the highest standards according to established criteria.
- Adhere to timelines and deadlines for fit-out work, taking necessary measures to address any potential challenges or delays.
- Address any problems or challenges that arise during branch fit-outs and work to find effective and appropriate solutions.
- Comply with and be knowledgeable about all regulations and health and safety standards related to site work, ensuring the safety of the team.
- Communicate effectively with all relevant stakeholders, including clients, designers, contractors, and suppliers, coordinating efforts among different teams to ensure a smooth and integrated execution of all works.
- Stay updated on developments and trends in the field of fit-outs and decorations, implementing best practices and adopting modern technologies and methods.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
- +4 years Experience in fit-out or interior construction management.
- Proficient in project management software programs.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to challenges.
