About the job
The jobholder is responsible for supervising actuarial studies activities including research, actuarial studies, analysis and reporting for better planning and decision-making.
Responsibilities
Ensure detailed analysis of EBP data, research international publications and other comparable systems to evaluate applicable EBP structures and factor in latest trends
Ensure detailed analysis of segment coverage data and root-causes for coverage gaps
Ensure detailed analysis of consumer protection data to determine the root-causes and drivers of consumer protection abuses (e.g., fraudulent agents, unclear regulation)
Tender and Contract Management Section Head
Responsibilities
Review and finalize request for proposals (RFPs) ensuring compliance with purchase requirements and escalate to Procurement and Contracts Director for approval
Develop financial and technical dimensions and framework in coordination with concerned stakeholders to facilitate the assessment of received bids and guarantee the selection of most suitable ones
Supervise assessment of received bids, evaluate each proposal according to the pre-defined evaluation framework and rank bidders in order to select the supplier
Ensure proper checking on samples of items to be procured to ensure alignment to terms of quality and internal/external specification requirements and communicate selected items to Asset Control Section to ensure received purchased items are compatible with the selected sample
