R&D Intern (Chemistry / Chemical Engineering)
The R&D Intern will assist with research projects focused on the development and improvement of chemical products and processes, providing practical experience in a fast-paced lab environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and execution of experiments.
- Conduct laboratory tests and analyze data to evaluate product performance and stability.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and chemists to optimize existing products and develop new ones.
- Prepare samples and assist in characterization of new compounds using analytical techniques such as chromatography and spectroscopy.
- Document experimental procedures and results accurately in lab notebooks and electronic databases.
Quality Engineer
Details
The Quality Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams, including engineering, technical, supplier quality, customer service, and sales, to improve product and process quality.
Responsibilities
- Knowledge and/or experience in manufacturing and testing of wiring devices, PCB assembly, injection molding, and metal stamping tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001, QS 9000/TS 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001; audit exposure preferred.
- Computer literacy is essential, including Minitab, Statistical Process Control (SPC), JIRA, and SAP.
- Familiar with quality management tools such as APQP, MSA, SPC, FMEA, Six Sigma, and problem analysis tools (A3, 8D, Why, etc.).
