We are currently recruiting for a Customer Quality Manager to come and join our team covering our Northern Region.
Job Purpose:
Dealing with customers across all sectors including distributors, merchants, architects, contractors, house builders, you will need to be capable of assessing and understanding the customer issues, communicating these internally and being the voice of the customer at Ibstock to drive improvements and ensure the customer is kept informed of the status of problems.
Key Accountabilities
Maintain group and division Customer Quality KPI’s
Principle point of contact for sites/sales for customer quality knowledge
Visit customer sites to evaluate complaints
Complete reports to communicate defects internally
Liaise with remedial team to resolve customer issues
Work Closely with Sales team to manage customer relationship
Work with Technical Services for analysis of trend data on complaints
Work with manufacturing sites and Divisional Quality to drive factory improvements
Develop product knowledge to assess complaints and correctly determine root cause of complaint
Ensure a health and safety first approach on all day to day activities
Knowledge, Skills And Experience
A good knowledge of brick manufacturing processes
A good knowledge of concrete manufacturing
Self-starting, highly motivated, enthusiastic and proactive
Ability to meet business needs and deadlines
Team player with honest and flexible style
Excellent communication skills
IT literate including all basic MS Office programs
Experience in management role dealing with all levels of Management
Be able to motivate and encourage others; be decisive and able to work well under pressure; resolve conflicts and good at problem solving
Possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written and be able to co-ordinate work carried out by different people and organisations
Innovative thinking and solutions focused
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Full driving license
